Godaddy.com, one of the world’s leading domain name registration and web site hosting providers, is building a new customer care center in Iowa. The new building will open officially this spring.

Godaddy.com now serves almost 8 million customers all over the world. The Internet company currently operates customer care centers in Tempe, Scottsdale, and Gilbert.

GoDaddy.com is planning to hire about sixty customer care representatives in the next 8 weeks for Iowa. The new facility can accommodate a total of 500 people, who will eventually fill the new building. The majority of these people are existing Godaddy employees who will transfer from other buildings.

“Iowa is a great place for recruiting quality exployees and we expect to begin advertising new positions this coming month.” said Miguel Lopez, who is Vice President of Godaddy.com’s customer care department

The Vice President added: “Godaddy.com prefers not to offshore its customer care jobs. Keeping our employees in-house ensures that our company is able to offer one of the best customer support departments in the web hosting industry.”
