2010 was a big year for HostGator, in below, we make a recap of some of the great events from this web hostng giant in the past year.

HostGator saw Record Growth

In 2010, Hostgator grew by 2 MILLION Domains! THey grew from 2.9 Million Domains Hosted in the beginning of 2010 to 4.9 Million+ Domains Hosted at the end of 2010!

Hostgator opened a new HostGator office in Austin, TX, and the number of their employees grows to be over 500! They had their largest training class ever start on Monday January 24th, 2011 with 64 new HostGator support reps! This means much quicker response times for their customer.

Community Involvement

Hostgator sponsors 2 sport events in 2010, which are a NASCAR Team and UFC Fighters and Snappy Makes his debut in Video Games. Besides these, HostGator is popping up on billboards ALL OVER the United States, which will make it closer to their customers.

HostGator also donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development fund.

Summary

2010 is really a very successful year for Hostgator. They not just gain more market share in the industry, but also demostrate their social responsiblity by involving more charitable donations.
