Interview with ANHosting Brand Manager Lance Weeks

Today, HostUCan have an interview with Lance Weeks, ANHosting Brand manager. During the interview, Lance reinstate the company strategy to "provide a simple, no-hassle web hosting solution for users of open source projects (Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, etc.)"

As a company began in a basement office by two individuals in 2001, Ahn and Nick (hence A.N. Hosting), ANHosting now is hosting thousands of websites all over the world. The company has grown immensely the past few years and is part of a team of over 100 employees.

With a focus on providing hosting solution for open source projects, ANHosting also design their core value with "personable and helpful customer service, fast setup and website building, along with easy usability." With which, ANHosting will makes itself different to other hosting companies.

To offer better support to their customers, ANHosting leverage a C7 datacenter which is close to their office, and assign dedicated onsite resource 24*7. To meet different level of customer needs, ANhosting setup a customer system which could be accessed by phone call, live chat, and email. They also create online documentation and help tutorials in order to make their client’s web hosting experience easier.

In the last section, Lance feel that technology advances might lead to a situation that web hosting become more technical than most users prefer. And as a web host, how to make it simple for the clients will be a challenge, and ANHosting will make sure they could achieve this, and at the same time, to avoid ‘pricing game'.
