Providers of domain name registration and web hosting services, UK2 Group have announced big plans to launch a next generation control panel across its entire family of brands. This includes key hosting providers UK2.net, midPhase and WestHost.
The control panel, identified as Tera.CP , is being released as a public beta test to customers of innovative brand 10TB.com in the first instance. Then after further testing, roll out will then follow over the course of 2009.
Tera.CP is described by UK2 Group as a “next generation control panel” as it is a significant departure from the traditional, static control panel that hosting customers are used to. Tera.CP gives the user a much more versatile experience, based on EXTJS and with a matching Adobe Air application also available the users of 10TB.com will enjoy total control over their servers and up to the second information on hardware and bandwidth usage.
“Tera.CP is another key development for the hosting industry being led by UK2 Group” states Ditlev Bredahl, CEO of UK2 Group. “With such a large family of brands offering customers the latest hosting products and services, we felt that it was hugely important to provide customers with a sophisticated yet easy to use control panel to manage their requirements.”
